This class is the introduction to our junior tennis programme. We follow the guide lines set out by the LTA's Mini Tennis Programme in which child coaching is managed in a very progressive way. Children will start here and begin to learn the most basic principles of tennis with a big focus on fun. At this stage of a child's tennis development don't expect too much more than being able to hold a racket.

This class is strcitly for 4yr olds and is an introdcution for small children into the beautiful game. The main focus at point of entry is to make children comfortable in their environment before they begin to work on the BAGA proficiency awards 7 through 1. With the addition of new equipment gymnastics is a proven favourite for both boys and girls.

Children will begin to advance through the BAGA proficiency awards, but parents must always remember that all children will not develop at the same speed, our professional coaches ensure that the child is always brought along at the right pace for them. Children will begin to use different aparatus as well as expanding on the skills they perform on each piece of aparatus. Whilst still a serious class much fun can still be had.

The classes now begin to work on developing the instincts that make any footballer, rules are expanded on and drills and skills are worked on weekly ensuring the creation of a cognitive imprint for the children to depend on for future reference in the game. Small sided games are also used for both fun and the opportunity to display to the children how they can become improved footballers. The classes will begin to have a more serious and focused feel to them.
